Dr. Patel received his DDS at UCLA in 2001 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society for academic excellence. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Long Beach to obtain advanced training in general dentistry and managing patients with complex medical problems. In 2004, he received specialized training in Endodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where the use of an operating microscope was an integral part of the training. Dr. Patel has been in private practice since 2004. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society, and American Association of Endodontists. On a personal note, Dr. Patel is married and has two sons. He spends most of his free time with his family, traveling, and enjoys running, hiking, yoga, and meditation.
